our origins 

Back in the year of Our Lord 2013 and the month was JUne. a group of people from Withernsea wanting to stage A Maritime Event.  It wasn't long before they realised that they all had a love for Pirates and everything associated with them, so that was decided upon, a pirate event is was going to be. Within days of the initial idea it had grown into a full scale Festival which took place from 4th-7th August 2013. The festival was such an amazing success that it was going  to become an annual event and a major part of the towns calendar.
